WARSAW SHARKS

Some call it a masters group; we call ourselves Sharks. We are an amateur swimming group born from shared passion, ambition, strength, and determination, but most of all, from having a good time. We train together, compete in races, cheer each other on at the top of our lungs, and most importantly, we build a community.
Sharks is much more than just a sport. It’s a shared passion, but above all, it’s about building supportive and enriching relationships. It’s training together and grabbing breakfast afterwards. It’s exchanging experiences, sharing interests, networking, going on trips together, and ultimately, building friendships.

TRAINING GROUPS

Join our swimming training and lessons in Warsaw. Under the guidance of Paweł Korzeniowski, a Polish swimming legend and 5-time Olympian, our experienced coaches will look after you at every stage of your swimming journey. As long as you can swim a few meters, you'll learn the rest with us!

Group sessions

In our experience, group sessions are the best way to learn how to swim. They combine the joy of physical activity with the pleasure of spending time with others. Participants make new friends and motivate each other, which leads to faster progress. We offer groups ranging from beginner to advanced, including those preparing for competitions.
Level 1
WHO IT'S FOR: First Splash is a group for those who cannot swim at all or are afraid of the water.
WHAT WE DO: In our sessions, we get comfortable in the water in a safe and calm environment that helps overcome fear. Participants gradually learn the basics of swimming through buoyancy exercises and swimming on their backs and stomachs—initially with the help of equipment (noodles, kickboards) and later on their own.
GOAL: Our goal is to build confidence in the water and achieve full independence while swimming.
Groups:
  • FIRST SPLASH
Level 2
WHO IT'S FOR: For those who can already breathe comfortably while swimming and can manage to swim one or two laps using a kickboard, on their back, or breaststroke.
WHAT WE DO: We focus on learning proper freestyle and backstroke technique. We cover about 600-800 meters per session, mainly through technical drills.
GOAL: Mastering correct freestyle and backstroke technique.
Groups:
  • SMALL SHARKS
  • SHARK GIRLS COOKIE girls only
Level 3
WHO IT'S FOR: For those who have already had regular contact with swimming and can swim continuously.
WHAT WE DO: In addition to technique, we start introducing training sets. We swim freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke, and learn the basics of butterfly. We cover about 1,500 meters per session.
GOAL: Mastering the technique of all four swimming strokes, preparing for longer distances, and improving endurance.
Groups:
  • MEDIUM SHARKS
  • SHARK GIRLS BADASS girls only
Level 4
WHO IT'S FOR: For regular swimmers who can comfortably swim all four strokes, are planning to compete in amateur races and triathlons, or are simply looking for new athletic challenges.
WHAT WE DO: Workouts based on endurance, sprint, and technical drills, with a focus on stamina and swimming efficiency. We cover between 2,000 and 2,500 meters per session.
GOAL: Perfecting all four swimming strokes, improving fitness, and preparing for swimming competitions.
Groups:
  • SHARKS RACING TEAM
  • SHARK GIRLS RACING TEAM girls only
  • BIG SHARKS
  • JUNIOR SHARKS

SHARK GIRLS

Shark Girls is our flagship project for women, where we showcase the athletic power of women. Here, training is an excuse to meet up, and playing sports together brings people closer like nothing else.

COMMUNITY

SHARKS is a sports community that already counts over 1,000 people. We are connected by more than just a passion for swimming. We train together, compete in races, run, cycle, and celebrate life in motion. It’s not about the results. It’s about the relationships that form during our shared efforts. About those moments when we feel we are part of something bigger.

Coaches with extensive competitive experience are a treasure trove; you’re constantly getting ideas for new drills to improve your pace or technique, plus they plan camps, races, and… the legendary Friday post-training breakfasts :)

WOJTEK

SHARKS is like your favorite PE class with school friends—full of laughter, sport, and good vibes. It’s the perfect break from everyday life that develops both body and spirit. Participating in this program isn't just about training; it’s also about shared events, competitions, and celebrating successes, regardless of your skill level. The 5Styl community is full of energetic, motivated people, from the coaches to the other participants.

ALICJA

My first training session was a challenge, but despite the initial difficulties, it motivated me to train regularly. Over time, I increased the intensity, reaching five sessions a week. A key role was played by the fantastic group of people whose support and motivation were invaluable, making the training sessions a real pleasure.

JAKUB

I've been with 5Styl since 2020. I learned to swim as a child, but it wasn't until I started training here under the guidance of Paweł Korzeniowski, Marcin Cieślak, and other great coaches that I began refining all my strokes. At 50-plus—or rather, 60-minus—I compete in races, hitting new personal bests and winning medals.

EWA

Sharks is a group where I can prepare for truly big challenges—both in the pool and in open water. It’s not just the coach—a legend of Polish swimming—who motivates you, but every member who joins you daily on the adventure that is swimming. Being part of this community is simply energizing! The ability to train here up to 5 times a week and the peace of mind that comes from knowing you're in the best hands is the best thing that can happen to anyone wanting to develop their skills.

NIEDŹWIAD

When I joined the Sharks, I was already a decent freestyler, but now I'm practicing all the strokes! The workouts are varied, and the fast pace of the other athletes motivates me to raise the bar and swim even harder! The coaches' jokes and the group atmosphere mean I always leave the pool with a smile.

ZUZA

What sets SHARKS apart in my opinion? You will always find space for yourself and people who share your passion for swimming. Whether you're focused on high-intensity conditioning and want to race in the pool, or you enjoy open-water swimming or want to perfect your technique in a friendly atmosphere. Motivation, plenty of ideas, and a great team—all under the guidance of champions and super coaches. Train at your own pace and in your own style.

AGA

As a member of the SHARKS swimming club, I train daily with world-class athletes in an atmosphere of respect and motivation. Every session at our club is a step toward pushing my own limits, fueled by a spirit of competition and support from our coaches. I am proud to be part of this community, which develops not only swimming skills but also character. The club has an incredible vibe where both Olympians and novices learn and grow, celebrating every training session as a unique experience.
